I am extremely proud and privileged to be the Headteacher of Astley Primary School, part of Synergy Multi Academy Trust. We are a school passionate about providing every child with the opportunities, skills and experiences to become a lifelong learner.Â
The 'Astley Curriculum Experience' (ACE) is at the heart of what we do; we are all ACE learners. We aim to develop happy, confident and kind individuals who are ready to contribute to and engage with life after Astley.

What a super first full week we have had! Our Tigers and Penguins loved their first Forest School session of the year and have already been learning and practising so many outdoor and science related skills, including making Christmas Tree Tea! Dolphins started their swimming sessions, Sharks have been taking part in Bikeability and our Lions did some checking in with our honey bees; a real hive of activity!

A very Happy New Year to you all and I hope you had a wonderful Christmas time. It has been lovely to welcome everyone back this term, including some new pupils; we welcome Evelyn, Zion and Pearl to Tigers and Turtles classes.

We have had a super week rounding off Astley Christmas! We are very proud of our Bears, Lions and Tigers for their Christmas Show performances. It is easy to forget how young they are, and to see how much hard work and practise has gone in is brilliant. A big well done to the staff team here for making the magic happen and to families for your ongoing support

We are still absolutely buzzing from our fantastic Friends Christmas Fair! If ever there was a way to showcase our community
and special team spirit – last Friday was it. The team of Friends, helpers and everyone who contributed went absolutely above
and beyond, and did it all with such positivity and a can do attitude.
