Head Teacher’s Award

Mrs Goakes awards one pupil from each class every half term for outstanding behaviour and attitude to school.

ACE Fine Dining and Fast Passes

We have a fantastic team of Midday Supervisors who work and support our children during the lunchtime hour. During the hour they support the children in the dinner hall as well as organising our activities. The children enjoy their lunchtime activities including; football, basketball, skipping, drawing, the adventure playground and huff and puff.

Throughout the week all Midday Supervisors observe the children and select four KS1 children who have shown super behaviour and ACE attitudes to have an ACE Fine Dining Experience.  They can bring a friend and have a special table laid up for them with flowers, table cloths and even table service!  KS2 children get awarded an ACE Fast Pass with a friend so they can go in first for lunch.

Hot Chocolate with the Head

Every week we have a #hotchocfri!  All week staff can nominate either children or grown-ups who have gone above and beyond that week and have shown super attitudes.  Mrs Goakes then hosts Hot Chocolate in her office with marshmallows, biscuits and music!  It is such a special experience.

Reading Prizes

Children get nominated each week by their teacher for over and above ACE reading and get to choose one of our fantastic reading prizes!

Learning Behaviour Hero

Each week one child from each class gets awarded a 'Learning Behaviour Hero' certificate for showing our ACE learning behaviour in school all week.

Curriculum Hero

Each week one child from each class gets awarded a 'Curriculum Hero' certificate for excelling or making super progress in a particular subject.

ACE Note Home

Staff send a special ACE postcard home for over and above or special moments.

Out of School Achievements

Our children at Astley all work extremely hard in and out of school. We are proud of all their achievements however big or small they may be. Children are given the opportunity to share these experiences and achievements in our Friday assembly. These may range from swimming, dancing, football to singing competitions.

Community Sports Partnership

As part of the Community Sports Partnership programme who come into school to work with children an award is given on a weekly basis to a pupil who has shown particular sportsmanship, fair play, teamwork and good attitude in developing their skills.

Our Schools

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises fifteen Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils. The Trust was initially established in 2015. We believe that all of our schools have strengths and areas to develop, and that all can improve through sharing expertise and wisdom. The Trust understands that there will be excellent practice in each school, and that every school will be able to contribute to the development of the Trust as a whole.
