I joined Astley Primary School as a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) in 2012. During my time at Astley, I have been fortunate to teach across a wide range of year groups, gaining valuable experience and developing a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.

I am currently the Deputy Headteacher and SENDCo, and I teach Lions Class on Mondays and Tuesdays. As the Maths Lead, I am passionate about sharing my enthusiasm for mathematics and helping children develop both confidence and enjoyment in the subject. I believe it is important for all pupils to understand the value of maths in everyday life while discovering the areas of the subject that inspire and engage them most. 

I am also enjoying leading the after-school tennis club, which provides a wonderful opportunity to encourage pupils to develop new skills, stay active, and build confidence through sport.
