I am extremely proud and privileged to be the Headteacher of Astley Primary School, part of Synergy Multi Academy Trust. We are a school passionate about providing every child with the opportunities, skills and experiences to become a lifelong learner.
The 'Astley Curriculum Experience' (ACE) is at the heart of what we do; we are all ACE learners. We aim to develop happy, confident and kind individuals who are ready to contribute to and engage with life after Astley.

We have had a super week rounding off Astley Christmas! We are very proud of our Bears, Lions and Tigers for their Christmas Show performances. It is easy to forget how young they are, and to see how much hard work and practise has gone in is brilliant. A big well done to the staff team here for making the magic happen and to families for your ongoing support

We are still absolutely buzzing from our fantastic Friends Christmas Fair! If ever there was a way to showcase our community
and special team spirit – last Friday was it. The team of Friends, helpers and everyone who contributed went absolutely above
and beyond, and did it all with such positivity and a can do attitude.

We have loved kicking Christmas off here at Astley – with sparkle and festive spirit in
full swing! What better way to round off the week than with our Friends Christmas Fair. The fun begins after school in the
hall, and we can’t wait to see as many of you there as possible supporting our community. Thank you so much to everyone
who has helped in any way, it really is appreciated. Christmas card boxes are located by the office and in Hastings building,
if children wish to send cards to their friends. Please ensure that the child’s name and class name / year group are clear on
the envelope, thank you in advance.

Well done to Penguins class for their assembly this week; it was lovely to see their learning and term so far. Turtles and
Dolphins have both been out on trips this week. Turtles had a fantastic day at the Time and Tide Museum and Dolphins
experienced an enriching day at West Stow. Thank you to the parents and carers who attended and the team for making our
trips possible.
