Bears (Foundation)

Welcome to our Reception class!

Miss Stagg is our class teacher, Miss Ellis is our teaching assistant, and Mrs Cleall is a 1:1 TA in our classroom. On Thursday afternoons Mrs Allen teaches the class. 

Our classroom is a busy and exciting place where everyone feels happy and ready to learn. We learn through a balance of play, exploration and adult-led activities, where we might be building, reading, painting, investigating, creating or learning outdoors.

Throughout the week, we enjoy daily Read Write Inc. Phonics, Maths and Dough Disco, alongside lots of activities linked to our class topics and children’s interests. On Wednesday mornings, we head outside for Forest School, where we love exploring in nature and developing new skills.

We are very excited for the year ahead!
