House teams

Astley Primary School values the importance of intra school competition as well as inter school competition. We promote fair play and good sportsmanship which is reinforced during our activities.

To help support this all children are divided between 4 house teams which include:

delphinus pegasus orion phoenix

The children compete against each other in numerous events throughout the year which includes; Art, Basketball, Football, Netball, General Knowledge Quiz, Music, Dance, Gardening, Midsummer Madness, Sports Day and Rounders.

The children also receive house points for good behaviour, hard work and achievements in class. These points are added up over the year and the team scoring the most points and winning the most events become our overall House Team winners.

Keep checking our website to find out the winners of each event this year!

Each house team has two Year 6 captains and two Year 2 captains. These are voted by each house team.

Our Schools

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises fifteen Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils. The Trust was initially established in 2015. We believe that all of our schools have strengths and areas to develop, and that all can improve through sharing expertise and wisdom. The Trust understands that there will be excellent practice in each school, and that every school will be able to contribute to the development of the Trust as a whole.
