Bears (Foundation)

We are Bears!

We are the Early Years Foundation Stage Class at Astley. Miss Harrold is our class teacher and Mrs Allen teaches the class on a Thursday afternoon and Fridays. Miss Ellis is our teaching assistant. Mrs Cleall and Miss Sayer also work in our class as a 1:1 classroom assistants. Our class mascot is Buddy Bear and he helps us to try our best and follow the class rules.

Lots of exciting learning happens in our classroom! We love to explore, investigate, imagine and get messy during our child-initiated activities. We love taking part in Forest School every Wednesday with Mr Dart and enjoy our P.E and library time with Mrs Allen.  
 
Daily RWInc. Phonics, Maths, Dough Disco as well as adult led activities, linking to our exciting topics, help us to grow and develop into independent and confident learners so we are ready for Year 1.
